    Megan represents clients in the area of:

     

    Born and raised on Isle of Palms, Megan spent three years as a 1st grade teacher in Mount Pleasant before attending the Charleston School of Law. After graduating in 2011 she began her legal career in insurance defense and real estate, focusing on complex commercial real estate transactions. Since joining Buxton & Collie in August 2015, Megan’s scope of practice has grown to include a variety of corporate transactions.

    Megan works regularly with corporations and other business entities in the areas of real estate, practice transitions, private equity, corporate transactions, capital finance, contract negotiation, and corporate governance.

    In the Community

    Megan is a 1998 graduate of Ashley Hall and remains involved in many local charitable events. While in law school, she completed over 200 hours of community service and pro bono work.

     
    At Home

    Megan lives in Mount Pleasant with her two children, who keep her busy with school and sports activities. They attend St. Andrews Church in the Old Village and enjoy spending time at the beach and with extended family and friends in the area.
