Chris is an experienced attorney who joined our Corporate Team in 2024. Chris’s hometown is in New Jersey, where he attended undergrad receiving a B.A. in Economics and Psychology. He later moved down the coast to attend Charleston School of Law where he received his J.D.
Prior to joining Buxton & Collie, Chris focused his legal career on litigation and real estate. As his practice grew, he desired a more transactional focus. Chris’s prior experience and legal maturity make him a vital part of our Corporate Team.

Chris lives in Charleston with his beautiful wife, Maddie, their son, and dogs Mo and Tiki. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors, and cheering on his favorite sports teams: the New York Giants, New York Yankees, and Rutgers Scarlet Knights (who won the first ever college football game against Princeton in 1869).
