Brian M. Collie

Brian leads the firm’s real estate practice, with an emphasis on the intersection of business law and real estate. He regularly represents clients on commercial real estate purchases and commercial leases reviews, and he advises businesses on everything from startup entity formation to ongoing corporate governance issues. His practice areas include:

Brian is a Summerville native who, prior to law school, provided consulting services for start-up companies while working at the Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Clemson University. He also worked as a compliance analyst and equities trader before starting his legal career.

He is a co-author of the 2018 SC Bar publication South Carolina Business Law Handbook: A Practical Guide for Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and Their Counsel.

Brian and his wife, Lauren, live in Mount Pleasant with their two young daughters. He enjoys serving the community through various organizations. He is an avid Clemson football fan, and the entire family can always be found rooting for their Tigers.
