Prior to joining Buxton & Collie in May 2021, Michael spent five years at a state-wide law firm, successfully navigating business, construction, and real estate litigations throughout South Carolina. Upon graduating from Clemson, he worked as a commercial real estate leasing agent, negotiating deals and guiding commercial real estate lease transactions from start to finish. While working towards his J.D., Michael clerked for a number of Charleston-based law firms, building a strong foundation in civil litigation and disputes, business law, real estate practice, and construction law. In addition to admission in the South Carolina Bar, Michael is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for South Carolina.
