Buxton & Collie hosted its first blood drive on August 7, 2020 with The Blood Connection. Our firm friends and families came out in full force! We blew past our original “high” goal of 18 units with 29 registered donors and 22 completed units. Every donor received a Visa gift card from The Blood Connection and free Covid-19 antibody testing.
Our parking lot party included the DonutMakes food truck for post-donation treats. A big thank you to Benny Palmetto’s Pizza for the additional gift cards for every donor! We love supporting local businesses like Benny Palmetto’s and we appreciate how The Blood Connection serves our local hospitals. What a great day of fun and community service – thank you to everyone who participated. We will do it it again later this fall!
