Earlier this month, the Buxton & Collie team welcomed attorney Max J. Mazurek to the firm. Max, who earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2020 from the University of South Carolina School of Law, brings plenty of energy and fresh insight to his new role as Associate Attorney. Among his professional experiences, he most recently worked as a bipartisan staff assistant during hearings to confirm Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett. Max comes to the Lowcountry by way of Washington, D.C., and the Upstate, where he clerked for the Senate Judiciary Committee and a civil litigation law firm. When not in the office, this sporty Wisconsin native can be found golfing, adventuring outdoors, and rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers.
