Buxton and Collie is proud to have a Summer Law Clerk Program, where current law students can learn about the firm and our practice areas, while also gaining confidence and legal skills by assisting our attorneys.
This summer, we have happy to welcome two law clerks to the team. Our first summer law clerk, Michael Scarnecchia is a rising 3L at the University of South Carolina School of Law. Michael has a strong interest in transactional work and is working with the corporate team on various projects. Michael graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in finance and a minor in sports management. He played football for the South Carolina Gamecocks and made the Dean’s list in both undergrad and law school. Currently, Michael is Chair of the Honor Council for the law school, and serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Law and Education.
Our second law clerk, Nina Ivankovic is a rising 2L at Charleston School of Law. Nina has an interest in residential and commercial real estate and has been learning the ins and outs of the practice of real estate. Nina attended Clemson University prior to law school and graduated with a degree in marketing and a minor in legal studies. While at Clemson, Nina was active with Zeta Tau Alpha, which promotes breast cancer education and awareness. During her first year at CSOL, she enjoyed being a SBA Senator.
